Pre-matric Scholarship for Physically Challenged and Other Backward Classes Students (OBC)

Description of the Scheme

Pre-matric scholarship is provided to OBC and physically challenged students from class I to X.
School attendance required for all classes is 80% and above,
Minimum marks obtained should be 50% and above for class VI-VIII and 55% and above for class IX-X in previous exam qualified.
For all classes the income of parents/guardians should not exceed Rs. 2100/- per month
 
Procedure

The application forms are available with the District Social Welfare officer (DSWO)/Tehsil Social Welfare officer (TSWO) ZEO/Head of the Educational Institution free of cost. The applicant has to complete the application form and enclose proof, regarding income status, address, and marks obtained. Complete case is to be submitted to the concerned head of the institution/ZEO against proper receipt. The concerned head of the institution/ZEOs consolidates the list of eligible applicants under the scheme and forwards the list to the TSWO/DSWO for accord of sanction by designated District Level Sanctioning Committee.
